An antique mahogany twin pedestal kneehole desk with a polished top, brass handles, central kneehole opening and drawers to both sides.
A smart and practical desk with good colour, attractive grain and a traditional country house look. The back is well finished, so it could be used centrally in a room rather than pushed against a wall.
The desk has drawers to both pedestals, three top drawers and side locking flaps/covers to the drawer banks. Please note the side flaps do not have a key.
Suitable for a home office, study, library, hallway, shop display or period interior.
Condition
Good antique used condition with age-related wear, knocks, marks, scratches and signs of use throughout.
There are some historical veneer losses and repairs, mainly around the drawer/front areas, but these blend well with the overall colour and character of the piece. Some surface wear and small chips/losses are visible, all in keeping with age and use.
The side flaps do not have a key. Presents well overall and remains a useful, decorative antique desk.
