Belle Buds is a faithful reproduction of a mid-19th century French wallpaper design, likely originating around the 1850s during the height of the Romantic period in European decorative arts. This era favored naturalistic motifs, delicate florals, and refined symmetry—qualities beautifully captured in this design.
The pattern features elegant vertical garlands composed of roses, forget-me-nots, and scattered floral buds, arranged in a rhythmic ascent.
