Sleek, substantial, and impeccably modern, the Edgar Black Marble Table Lamp partners a cylindrical black marble base with polished chrome (silver) details and a tailored ivory fabric shade.
The result is a lamp that reads architectural yet inviting, perfect for design-led living rooms, contemporary bedrooms, and elevated home offices. The honest mix of materials delivers hotel-luxe appeal without fuss, while the shade's clean profile diffuses a soft, comfortable glow ideal for reading and relaxing.
Design and Materials
- Body: Solid black marble cylinder, naturally veined, weighty, and unique in every piece.
- Metalwork: Chrome collar and base ring add crisp reflectivity that brightens surrounding surfaces.
- Shade: Ivory drum in a finely woven fabric for balanced diffusion and glare control.
- Palette: Black, silver, and ivory are an easy match to monochrome, industrial, and minimalist schemes.
Lighting and Performance
- Bulb: 1 × (per your specification; warm, dimmable LED recommended).
- Effect: Wide, even ambient light with softened edges, ideal for conversation corners and bedside wind-down.
- Comfort: Shade height shields the lamp at seated eye level to minimise hotspots.
Placement
- Best placement: Bedside pair for hotel symmetry; single statement on a console, sideboard, or work desk.
Benefits
- Instant polish: Real marble and chrome communicate quality and permanence.
- Stable base: Weighty stone construction resists accidental knocks on busy surfaces.
- Style agility: complements silver taps, mirror frames, steel appliances, and dark woods.
- Low maintenance: Wipe marble/metal with a soft cloth; refresh shade with a lint roller.
