Craft clearer, cocktail-ready ice at home with the Bygone ice tapper from Orsina. Honouring a simple technique, Orsina provides a handheld tool that lets you gently tap an ice cube to create just the size you prefer for drinks and mocktails. The straightforward action gives you control over dilution and presentation. Keep it near your freezer or bar cart to tailor ice for tall glasses, short pours, and shaker tins.
Key Features and Benefits

- Gentle tapping preserves clarity better than heavy pounding.
- Compact profile suits kitchen drawers, bar caddies, and travel kits.
- Ideal for cocktails, iced coffee, and sparkling water service at home
- The traditional approach reduces mess compared to aggressive crushing.
Materials and Finish
The ice tapper is designed for routine bar use with a solid, easy-to-clean exterior. Surfaces are smooth, so chips and frost wipe away quickly after service.
Styling and Use Ideas
Wrap a cube in a clean towel and apply controlled taps to make large chunks for an old-fashioned or smaller pieces for highballs. Prepare cracked ice ahead of a gathering and store it in a chilled bowl. For iced coffee, tap to medium pieces that cool quickly without overwhelming flavour. Use the tool to refresh freezer block ice into elegant shards for dessert presentations.
