Timeless design meets airy elegance in the Lyon Wishbone Antique White Chair, a Scandinavian-style dining chair that brightens any table setting.
Crafted from beechwood and finished in an antique white tone, the frame features the iconic wishbone back, a graceful Y-shaped support that cradles the spine while keeping the silhouette light.
The seat is hand-woven from paper cord in a classic envelope pattern, adding warm, organic texture and surprising durability.
With dimensions of 76H x 52D x 56W cm, the Lyon Wishbone offers a comfortable, upright sit suitable for long meals and lively conversation. The slightly curved backrest supports natural posture, and the open design enhances visual space, ideal for smaller dining rooms or open-plan kitchens.
The antique white finish pairs beautifully with pale woods, stoneware, and linen, bringing a calm, coastal sensibility to modern or traditional homes.
Why it's a dining staple
- Iconic form: The wishbone silhouette is celebrated for comfort and timeless style.
- Organic seat: Hand-woven paper cord offers resilient support and tactile charm.
- Light and bright: Antique white finish lifts darker tables and complements neutral palettes.
- Space-friendly: 56 cm width fits neatly around most tables.
- Versatile use: Works as a dining, desk, or accent chair.
Style a complete set around an oak or marble table, or mix with upholstered end chairs for a collected look. Add linen placemats and ceramic dinnerware to emphasise the chair's natural texture.
For care, dust the frame and vacuum the seat gently; wipe spills promptly to maintain the woven fibres. Comfortable, elegant, and enduring, the Lyon wishbone chair in antique white brings Scandinavian clarity and artisan craft to everyday dining.
