Our Pretty in Pink Hand-Blown Vase

Spotted glass is made by rolling molten glass over fragments of coloured glass before blowing — the spots fused into the body of the piece, not applied to its surface. Each one lands where chance and heat determine. The pink here sits inside the clear glass, visible from every angle, shifting as the light moves around it. Hand-blown, 21cm. No two are identical, which is either a feature or a philosophy, depending on how you look at it.
