The Waldorf Square Deco Floor Lamp brings vertical elegance and patterned warmth to living rooms and bedrooms. Multicoloured geometric glass rises from a square, rustic-bronze base, diffusing a layered glow that's flattering and serene.
It's a sculptural companion for reading chairs and sofa corners where height, texture, and mood are equally important.
Design and Materials
- Base and Stand: Rustic bronze with squared lines for Deco authenticity.
- Shade: Hand-assembled geometric glass in cream and complementary tones for dimensional radiance.
- Palette: Bronze/cream with subtle colour accents that harmonise with natural materials.
- Details: Tidy cable routing and a reassuringly weighty base.
Lighting and Performance
- Bulb: 1–2 × (per spec; warm, dimmable LED recommended).
- Distribution: Elevated shade spreads a broad, comfortable field of light; textured glass keeps glare low.
- Use: Ideal for reading, evening unwinding, and ambient layering with ceiling lights.
Placement
- Best placement: beside an armchair, in shadowy room corners, or anchoring a bay window.
- Switching: Inline or foot switch (per spec) for convenience.
Benefits
- Decorative height: Adds vertical balance to art and bookcases.
- Cohesive story: Pairs naturally with Waldorf square ceiling and table lamps.
- Stable and durable: the square base resists tipping on rugs and hard floors.
- Low maintenance: Dust shade with a soft brush; wipe base dry.
Styling Tips
Echo the lamp's palette in cushions and throws; add a bronze tray table to tie it together. Keep overhead lighting dim to let the glass patterns take centre stage.
