The decisive factor for effective protection is the mesh width of the grid - with 6.3 mm, the Windhager vole grid also protects against very small rodents.
The dimpled film is attached with the nubs in the direction of the wood. It prevents too much moisture from escaping and drying out the soil. At the same time, contact between soil and wood is avoided and water can drain down between the nubs.
This prevents waterlogging that can lead to rot and fungal infestation. Of course, the film is free from plasticisers and drinking water neutral.
Both products can be cut to fit many sizes and shapes.
